COCINA DE FUEGO
NOW OPEN IN DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE
Welcome to Xico (Shee-ko), a first of its kind ‘Cocina de Fuego’ and Marisqueria where bold Mexican flavors meet the soul of the Blue Ridge mountains. Named after a small village in Veracruz, Mexico, Xico celebrates the country’s rich culinary traditions through the art of wood fire cooking. Two friends, Scott Linquist & Dave McFarland, came together to bring a dining experience that ignites all the senses, from the smell of the open flames, the sizzle of the grill, the sounds of the molcajetes smashing guacamole, the sights of art and color that surrounds you and of course, the flavor of our food. From the vibrant heart of downtown Asheville, journey to the soulful heart of Mexico — proof that you don’t always need to go far to discover new cultures and find a sense of home.
